Carlos graduated from Southern Methodist University Deadman School of Law following a BA in Economics from Texas A&M University. He was a legal advisor to the Royal Dutch Shell Group for 18 years and then joined a privately held global company as Executive Director and General Counsel, which ultimately sold to a Fortune 500 company.

Carlos works with an array of clients with a focus on liquified natural gas, refining & marketing, E&P,  midstream projects as well as real estate. 

Carlos is married and has two children. Carlos serves on the board of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Spring Spirit, which provides safe pathways for Children.
